Home Tour: The Kitchen Reveal

Safe to say that time has flown! When I looked at my calendar last week, I realized that we’ve been living in our new place for a year and a half now and hadn’t shared a real update with you on our renovations and what everything looks like completed. But that’s about to change!

In our family, our life centers around food so it felt natural to begin with the kitchen. As with our entire reno, the construction was managed by PGC Enterprises. I’ve written another post on why we’re grateful to have worked with them, so for now, I’ll leave it at that.

The other 2 big vendors that played a large role in designing/building our dream kitchen was Sofo Kitchens and Midland Appliances. The first came to us recommended by our interior design consultant on the project, Shift Interiors –– and we were not disappointed. Radu and his team at Sofo were the utmost professionals, taking the time to really understand our working style and design. The install was so smooth and in 3 days, everything was done! There was one snafu with the pulls, but after one quick call with Radu, it was fixed within the week!

The other vendor we can’t recommend enough is Midland Appliances, where we purchased our washer and dryer, dishwasher, fridge and stove. We worked with Sandy who, like Radu, took the time to understand our specific needs and then made custom recommendations

This is what it looked like before, and here’s what it looks like today:
