Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a restful and relaxing holiday, whether you stayed at home or ventured somewhere hot. Our Christmas went by super fast and—with the exception of one family dinner — was entirely spent on our renovation!
As you know, we purchased our first “adult” home a couple of months ago. All of the interior was original to when it was first built (think yellow carpets, pink appliances – ah!), and trust me when I say nothing could be saved. Luckily, we were prepared to tackle our first home renovation—making this almost-1100 square foot apartment the perfect place to call “home.”
Three months later and we’re nearing the end of our reno. I’m told this is super fast, but having lived through it all it feels like it took YEARS! We moved in on December 31 and have slowly been making the place ours. Until the grand reveal, I thought now would be the perfect time to go back to the beginning and show you all of the “before” pictures of our place.
