POLL: Do You Think Social Media Should Be Outsourced or Kept In-House?

Over the weekend I got into a heated debate with a colleague over whether or not social media should remain in-house or outsourced to an agency. They were firmly against the idea of ever keeping it in-house; instead outsourcing to social media “experts” or agencies who would work on their social platforms for a specific amount of time each week. To them, this was a more productive and most importantly, cost-effective approach to social strategy.
